FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular drop irrigation equipment. SUBSTANCE: dropper has casing with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Spherical float is located inside casing. Dropper is equipped with additional float made in the form of hollow tore. Main and additional floats are arranged inside casing cavity. Casing cavity surface is made in the form of compressed three-axis ellipsoid of rotation. Long axis of ellipsoid of rotation is aligned with geometrical axes of inlet and outlet branch pipes. Casing cavity is additionally hydraulically communicated with inlet and outlet branch pipes through bypass channels and blocking cavities. The latter are oriented toward main float arranged in opening of tore. Dropper casing is made detachable. Casing parts joining plane is oriented toward long cavity axis at an angle of 30- 60 deg.
