FIELD: water purification for needs of the population and industrial water supply. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a filter of water purification for needs of the population and industrial water supply, that also may be used for purification of liquids, for example for clarification of wines and juices in food industry. The filter consists of the cylindrical body reinforced with tread rings. A taper cover and the bottom part through flanges are linked and fixed to the body. The flanged couplings of the body and the cover, as well as the body and the bottom part have two fixed to them mesh partitions, which preclude removal of grains of the granular loading located in the body between these partitions. The cover has a collecting-distributing system made of the vertically installed on a water supply (removal) branch-pipe perforated pipes with the blanked-off pipe ends . A similar collecting-distributing system linked with the water supply (removal) branch-pipe is mounted on the filter bottom. In process of water delivery the water streams from the pipes openings hit the cone walls of the cover, are shattered and turned into small-sized drops. So dispersed water more uniformly is distributed along the granular loading, and efficiency of filtration is increased. Similarly the rinsing water is delivered and distributed along the granular loading. The simple design of the filter allows to decrease its material capacity.
