FIELD: pipe line transport; erection of pipe lines provided with internal coats. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes fitting protective bush into ends of pipes in area of their connection; bush has protective coat and circular bores on its outer surface. Bores are used for placing the sealing rings whose inner cavities are communicated with cavities of pipes. In center part opposite weld seam, bush has circular bore filled with heat- insulating material. Inner cavity in sealing rings is formed by compression of these rings which are made from resilient-elastic tape mounted between bush and clamping rings at negative allowance. Clamping rings may be made from protector metal; in this case, intermediate rings are provided between clamping rings and sealing rings. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
