FIELD: chemical and petrochemical industries; food and machine-building industries. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a filter for purification of liquids polluted with oil and petroleum products. The invention intended for purification of liquids polluted with oil and petroleum products and may be used in chemical, petrochemical, food, machine-building industries, and also in systems of purification of drains of industrial enterprises and consumer services. The filter for purification of liquids polluted with oil and petroleum products includes a body 1 with a cover 2 and a conical bottom 3, a distributing device made in the form of a box 4 with a perforated bottom mounted in the top part of the cover 2. The internal volume of the body 1 of the filter is partitioned by the mobile perforated lattices 5 into five chambers of different height: in the top chamber 6, the middle chamber 7 and the bottom chamber 8 there are identical elastic net-shaped or perforated loaders 11 with a foamed polyurethane loading of granules or fragments of different form. The rest two intermediate chambers 9 are free. The height of chambers is firmly depends on the length of the fixing pins 10 located between the lattices. At that the ratio of a chamber height to the initial height of a non- compressed elastic loader is within the following limits: for the top chamber - (0.4 up to 0.6), for the middle chamber - (0.3 up to 0.35), for the bottom chamber - (0.2 up to 0.3), for the both intermediate chambers - (0.1 up to 0.2). The invention ensures high efficiency of purification of liquids polluted with oil and petroleum products and increased duration of the filtration cycle.
