FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safeguards of boom cranes. Proposed crane hook casing overlift safeguard contains limit switch mounted on bracket of boom head to control hook casing lift drive. Stop-pusher installed on hook casing interacts with switch through intermediate element. Intermediate element encloses by one end blind span of hoisting rope, and is hinge-connected by other end to contact system of switch. Intermediate element is tensioned by leaf spring one end of which is connected to end of intermediate element enclosing blind span of hoisting rope, and by other end is hinge connected to bracket in point of attachment of switch. EFFECT: improved reliability of safeguard in any position of crane boom. 1 dwg
