FIELD: agriculture, in particular, milking unit testing equipment for analysis of adaptability of cows with faulty udder for milking. SUBSTANCE: artificial udder has bowl-shaped case with teats and vessels for liquid. Bowl- shaped case is composed of two halves movable one with respect to another in vertical plane. Artificial teats are movable along vertical axis and provided with calibrated springs. Apparatus allows various situations to be simulated, which may occur during milking of cows with udders having different faults, such as stepped, heavily inclined or irregularly developed udder quadrants, as well as distribution of weight of suspended part of milking unit to be determined.
