FIELD: medicine, phthisiobacteriology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes the developed nutrient medium for mycobacterium tuberculosis used for assay of their medicinal resistance based on the modified synthetic Soton's medium that comprises additionally 0.35% of nutrient agar and 25% of equine serum. Using this medium provides obtaining the visual growth of mycobacterium tuberculosis by 2.1-2.8-fold more rapidly (on 3-5 days) as compared on the known medium. The proposed medium can be used in practice of phthisiobacteriological laboratories for the accelerated obtaining data about the medicinal resistance of clinical strains to isoniazid, streptomycin and rifampicin.
