FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has overrunning cam sleeve in form of driving half-coupling and driven half-coupling coaxially mounted on shafts connected. Device also has breaking means for driving half-coupling made in form of ground drums and centrifugal loads moveably fixed in separator for rotation around rotation axes. Centrifugal loads are made twin with equal ratios of their masses to respective distances from mass center of each load to respective rotation axis. Loads are equipped with stems and compressing springs under stems. Left load has a projection for leaning on stem of right twin load, and a point of stem and projection stopping is equidistant from rotation axes of each of twin loads. Product of multiplication of right load spring force and distance between spring and right load rotation axis is in 1.5-2.5 times greater than product of multiplication of left load spring force and distance between spring and left load rotation axis. EFFECT: lowered connection assembly deterioration achieved by limiting centrifugal forces, acting on drum of breaking means fixed on driven half- coupling, in case of fast starter shut-down revs. 2 dwg
