FIELD: heat pumps and their operation. SUBSTANCE: heat pump operating method includes heating of working medium by supplying heat from surrounding atmosphere followed by compression and heat transfer from working medium to medium to be heated. Working medium compression and cooling is effected simultaneously in revolving heat-transfer apparatus. Centrifugal forces, Coriolis forces, and pressure built up by circulating pump are used as compression forces. Thermal contact between working medium and medium being heated is effected directly through pipeline walls of heat- transfer apparatus. Working medium is distributed in heat-transfer apparatus so that changes in its density due to cooling down does not cause offcenter of masses relative to its axis of revolution. Inlet and outlet holes of revolving heat-transfer apparatus are disposed inside shaft of revolution and each of them is provided with equal number of outlets to side surface of shaft. Pipelines interconnecting these outlets in pairs form figure possessing property of order n symmetry of rotation, where n is number of loop-shaped tubes, n being greater than 1. Center of masses of heat-transfer apparatus is aligned with its axis of revolution. EFFECT: provision for executing thermodynamic cycle both with liquid and gas phase on saturation line. 2 cl, 1 dwg
