FIELD: methods of production of fertilizers containing nitrogen and sulfate sulfur on base of nitrate and ammonium sulfate, production of double type NS fertilizers referred to as " sulfate nitrate". SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing of concentrated ammonium nitrate solution at temperature of 100-170 C with ammonium sulfate, addition of alkali reagent such as aqueous solution of caustic soda and granulation and drying of target product; content of water in concentrated ammonium nitrate before mixing is maintained within 11- 30% and within 7-15% in mixture before granulation and drying; initial components are preliminarily mixed for 4-10 minutes at preferable temperature of 91-110 C; temperature of heating gases at inlet of drum- type granulator-drier is maintained within 160-220 C. Alkali reagent is added directly to reactor-mixer or is introduced preliminarily into concentrated ammonium nitrate solution.
