FIELD: heat power engineering; thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of operation of thermal power station steam generated in steam is delivered into steam turbine, impurities accumulated in boiler water are removed from boiler with blow-down water, and feed water delivered into boiler is heated by turbine extensions steam in regenerative heaters. Feed water heated in regenerative heaters is additionally heated by blow-down water before delivering into steam boiler. EFFECT: no adverse effect on environment, improved economy of thermal power station. 1 dwg
