FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device to provide resting on rail vehicle body on bogie. Proposed pivot bearing unit contains body spherical pivot and spherical step bearing with wear-resistant gasket placed in between, and king. Step bearing is provided with outer ring bead on which two semi-rings connected by bolts or axle and hinge bolt are installed by means of inner grooves. Inner ring projection of semi-rings is arranged in groove of pivot located in base of its support spherical surface. King pin is made in form of tube fixed on bogie coaxially with step bearing.
