SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with building materials industry, in particular with preparation of a raw mixture for production of cellular foamed concrete, that may be used for a heating equipment insulation. The technical result is an increase of refractoriness of a material, an opportunity to produce the heat insulating materials with the stable design densities in the range of 300 up to 800 kg / m cu, an opportunity to use alkali silicate (liquid glass) made from microsilica earth with silica module of 2 up to 4, an opportunity of utilization of the industrial waste - microsilica earth and a chamotte, reduction of production cost. A raw mixture for preparation of the foamed concrete, includes a weak soda glass, a silica component, a frothing agent, a hardener - sodium fluosilicate with silica module of 2 up to 4 and a density of 1.35 - 1.45 g / cm cu. In the capacity of a siliceous component they use microsilica earth, in the capacity of frothing agent - frothing agent "Morpen" and additionally - a chamotte at the following retio of the components (in mass %): the indicated soluble silicate (liquid glass) 63.41 - 69.04, microsilica earth 19.02 - 20.71, frothing agent "Morpen" 0.04 - 0.27, sodium fluosilicate - 6.34 - 6.90, a chamotte - 1.90 - 2.07, water - 1.24 - 9.06. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase refractoriness and improve the heat insulating features of the material, to utilize the industrial wastes - microsilica earth and a chamotte, to reduce cost of cellular foamed concrete production. 2 tbl
