FIELD: aviation; rescue of helicopters in an emergency at loss of control. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is provided with platform secured on drive shaft above propeller blades, main parachute whose lines are secured on said platform, stabilizing parachute whose lines are connected with canopy of main parachute and droppable cover. Besides that, device includes rocket secured behind canopy of stabilizing parachute and designed for jettisoning cover and extraction of this parachute. Device is provided with inertial navigational system of helicopter which connected with bank angle and pitch angle monitoring units; it is also provided with bank angle and pitch angle change analysis unit which is connected with bank angle and pitch angle monitoring units, command output unit which is also connected with bank angle and pitch angle monitoring units, bank angle and pitch angle change analysis unit and rocket squib. Platform has beads on which droppable cover is mounted. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
