FIELD: animal science, cattle raising. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with applying feedstuffs with higher content of heavy metals, lead and nickel, in particular, to obtain qualitative final production after fattening, such as meat and meat products. At the final stage of fattening one should supplement the main diet with a sorbent to withdraw lead and nickel from the body, as a sorbent it is necessary to use white slime (WS) to be introduced with a feedstuff at the dosage of 100150 g/calf once daily at 5-d-long cycles at 5-d-long intervals and amount of cycles being 2-4. Moreover, one should control the action of sorbents according to results of urinary and blood accounts in tested animals, slaughtering should be performed during 5 d after WS-cycle is finished. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 3 tbl
