FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device has hydraulic cylinder, percussive piston and a nozzle in form of expansible sides with hard-alloy tips, which is mounted under the piston of hydraulic cylinder and which is in contact with inner surface of hydraulic cylinder by its side surface, with capability for axial movement. Mechanism for delivery of non-Newton liquid is connected to hydraulic cylinder through radial opening. On inner surface of hydraulic cylinder a spiral groove is formed, by means of which said radial opening is connected to under-piston portion of hydraulic cylinder. On upper surface of nozzle ring-shaped slots are formed, into which rings made of resilient material are inserted for preventing longitudinal displacement of expansible sides relatively to each other. EFFECT: increased effectiveness of device operation due to possible use of non-Newton liquid for exploding the rock and for forming cracks in several planes concurrently. 6 cl, 2 dwg
