FIELD: rocket plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comes to delivery fuel components into full-scale combustion chamber, combustion of fuel components at low pressure and measuring pressure oscillations before and after appearance of high-frequency combustion instability in combustion chamber. Non-toxic components are used as fuel components, for instance, ethyl alcohol and air, their stoichiometric ratio being close to ratio of components under full-scale conditions. Oxidizer is heated to 300-500+ADw-M+AF4APg-o+ADw-D+AD4- C prior to delivering into combustion chamber and fuel is heated to temperature higher than fuel boiling temperature at pressure equal to pressure in combustion chamber. Invention makes it possible to determine peculiarities of mechanism of development of high-frequency oscillations in combustion chamber and provide selection, development and optimization of devices aimed at elimination of high frequency pressure oscillations in combustion chamber. EFFECT: reduced expenses and time taken for determination of peculiarities of development of high-frequency oscillation. 2 dwg
