FRICTION CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- friction centrifugal clutches. SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch includes main carrier with friction blocks freely fitted on it. Novelty of invention consists in availability of additional carrier mounted on main carrier provided with drive in form of helical bevel teeth and mechanism for forced release of friction blocks. This mechanism is made in form of holder which is spring-loaded along axis of rotation of blocks+ADs- mounted on ball bearing inside this holder is clutch member which is movable longitudinally relative to axis of rotation+ADs- this clutch member has skew slots for engagement with teeth of said drive. Additional carrier is connected with blocks by means of rigid coupling. EFFECT: extended operational capabilities due to forced release of friction blocks at moment of action of friction between blocks and drum. 5 dwg
