FILLET FOR GLASS PACK SECURING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: building industry, particularly means for securing door or window glass packs formed of polyvinylchloride (PVC) profiles.

SUBSTANCE: fillet is formed as hollow profile made of polymeric material and having slot for sealing means located in lower part thereof. Lower fillet part has tang, which is inserted during glass pack fixation into window casing profile or leaf profile having widening for creation of interlock connection formed by tang bending towards profile. Inner wall of hollow profile is formed by several parts connected to each other for forming W-like structure. One part facing glass pack has slot for sealing means fixation, which has inner wall with arc cross section. Intermediate parts extend along a circuit arcs and form angle of 115^o - 145^o in-between. Outer profile wall passes along quadratic curve, preferably of cylindrical type. Outer profile wall has cylindrical groove made in area of outer profile wall coupling with inner wall part facing casing profile or leaf profile. Cylindrical groove diameter is 0.75 - 20 of outer wall thickness. Cylindrical groove passes into longitudinal cylindrical groove formed in window casing or leaf. Window casing or leaf has the same groove made in opposite side thereof.

EFFECT: enhanced service performance including increased reliability and prevention of fillet damage during detaching thereof from window casement or leaf.
