FIELD: pulse engineering; electronic switches for various automatic-control devices and data-control systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed transistor switch incorporating overload protective gear has two transistors of different polarity of conductivity, emitter of first transistor being connected to power bus and through first resistor, to its base, and its collector, connected to first lead of second resistor, emitter of second transistor being connected to common bus and collector, to first lead of third resistor; third and fourth transistors of same polarity of conductivity as first one, emitter of third transistor being connected to power bus and through fourth resistor, to its base and to first lead of fifth resistor, collector of fourth transistor, connected to first lead of sixth resistor and base, to first lead of seventh resistor; fifth transistor of same polarity of conductivity as second transistor; input bus and output bus connected through load to common bus; newly introduced in transistor switch are switching member inserted between base and emitter of second transistor and controlled by signals across input bus; pulsed control bus connected through eighth resistor to base of second transistor; capacitor and ninth resistor whose first lead is connected to collector of fourth transistor and second one, to first plate of capacitor and to base of fifth transistor; collector of the latter is connected to second lead of fifth resistor and emitter is connected through first diode in forward direction to output bus and to collector of first transistor whose base is connected to emitter of fourth transistor and to collector of third transistor; second lead of third resistor is connected to base of fourth transistor, second lead of third resistor is connected to base of second transistor; second lead of seventh resistor is connected to power bus; second lead of sixth resistor and second lead of capacitor are connected to common bus.

EFFECT: simplified design, enlarged functional capabilities of transistor switch.
