FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: working tool has contoured pressure device, oscillating sides with cutting knives, and discharge chute. Oscillating sides are pivotally connected with one another and mounted on frame by means of U-shaped hangers. Pressure device web is extending beyond discharge chutes by value equal to half the maximal diameter of cabbage head. Guiding rods are pivotally attached with their front ends to sides and inserted with their rear ends into cross-piece openings for displacement along their axes and rotation in conjunction with sides.

EFFECT: improved quality of shear and reduced damage to cabbage heads.
