FIELD: medical equipment of radiation therapy.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with medicine equipment, in particular with "Chromatron" source of light used for radiation therapy. "Chromatron" contains light-emitting diodes, a source of 4 pulses of current, a keyboard with the buttons intended for issue of commands to switch on electric networks of switching and issue of commands to select the modes of operation of elements with the "Chromatron" source. The source is supplied with a multiposition key, a three-digit former of code combinations of a binary code, a two-digit former of code combinations of a binary code, a decoder of a binary code consisting of a three-digit decoder of a binary code and two-digit decoder of a binary code and the second stage of the decoder of a binary code. The source includes a current pulse generator and has two outputs, each of which is fused to one of inputs of the second group of inputs of the multiposition key. Use of the invention allows to make arbitrary independent choice of a spectrum of color of radiation of the light source and each light-emitting element, and also to replicate paired color sequences.
