FIELD: sportive equipment for swimmers.
SUBSTANCE: breathing tube has mouthpiece, inspiration valve and expiration valve. Inspiration valve has casing made in the form of hollow cylinder having one end equipped with outer protruding annular rim and other end made beveled, and is further provided with seat arranged at an angle less than 45 deg with respect to longitudinal axis of cylinder. Oval petal elastic membrane is attached to mid portion of shortened casing wall at the side of mouthpiece and has thickness reducing from attachment site to peripheral part. Inspiration valve casing is inserted into branch pipe of mouthpiece-expiration valve unit. Breathing tube of such construction provides for open breathing from water surface at 5-8 m depth.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating recirculation of swimmer's exhaled air and increased length of breathing tub.
