FIELD: rail transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake pneumatic systems of rolling stock, such as railway vehicles, underground vehicles, street cars, etc. It is designed for fitting mainly in pneumatic brake cylinders of vehicles. Brake cylinder valve-stopper has spring-loaded pusher with head provided with channel to let working medium out of brake cylinder space, and cup. Shutoff member is installed on free end of usher. Cup is installed in housing between spring and head of pusher to provide tight contact with housing. Housing is provided with through stepped channel accommodating pusher installed for longitudinal reciprocation. Valve-stopper in closed position is provided with detachable protective cap installed on shank. Valve-stopper in open position is furnished additionally with detachable opening member made in form of movable union with outer projection made along axis of movable union for connection of hose and lock for fitting movable union in housing space from side of shank.
EFFECT: provision of valve-stopper of reliable design.
