METHOD OF ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY FOR ON-BOARD SYSTEMS OF FLYING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2232109 C1

FIELD: aircraft electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in form AC power supply subsystem which consists of main channels with drives-generators, standby emergency channel with generator of auxiliary power plant, unit for connection of aerodrome power supply source and port and starboard AC bus-bars, as well as DC power supply subsystem which consists of channels with rectifying unit, storage battery and port and starboard DC bus-bars. At aerodrome under conditions of independent base when cruise engines are not started, AC power supply is performed from generator of auxiliary power plant and at joint operation of aerodrome power supply source and generator of auxiliary power plant, port bus-bar is fed from aerodrome source and starboard port is fed from generator of auxiliary power plant. At joint operation of drives-generators with aerodrome power supply source and generator of auxiliary power plant, drives-generator have priority. During ground start of auxiliary power plant, port and starboard bus-bares are disconnected in case of start from one side and are combined when is effected from two sides. Each channel of power supply subsystems is provided with built-in monitoring system Monitoring of system as a whole is effected by means of on-board automated monitoring system in ground and continuous modes.

EFFECT: enhanced adaptability and reliability of system.
