FIELD: manufacture of knitted products, in particular, gloves and child's mittens simultaneously in two grooves from flat double-rib knit fabric on automatic glove knitting machine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneously starting and knitting little finger, middle finger and thumb of five-finger glove and upper palm portion of child's mitten up to thumb portion base in two grooves of both needle cases; starting and knitting fourth finger and index finger of five-finger glove and thumb of child's mitten; closing three interdigital cavities and knitting upper palm portion of glove; closing interdigital cavities between thumb and upper palm portion of both articles simultaneously in two grooves; knitting lower palm portion and wrist band of glove and child's mitten; knitting wrist band of child's mitten of double length and bending it under itself. Glove and child's mitten may be manufactured from identical or different raw materials.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of equipment in manufacture of large-sized gloves.
