FIELD: oil producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in positive displacement machines including hydraulic or pneumatic device for setting into operation sucker-rod oil-well pumps used for lifting liquids from depth. Proposed hydraulic drive of lifting device contains working cylinder and counter balancing tandem cylinder. One of piston spaces of tandem cylinder is connected with compressed gas reservoir, and other piston space, with rod space of working cylinder to form closed hydraulic circuit. To increase number of stroke of working cylinder rod without increasing capacity of working liquid delivery pump, rod spaces of tandem cylinder connected through hydraulic distributor with pump or drain. Drive is provided with leakage compensation system providing make-up of closed circuit with liquid, when required. With drive operating, higher speed of rod travel is provided owning to multiplication of working liquid rate in tandem cylinder.
EFFECT: increased number of working cylinder rod stroke without increasing capacity of pump.
