FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: closer has external electromagnet and movable contact holder. Closer shroud has base mounting coil and fixed armature for electromagnet and power terminals installed within power terminal unit provided with partitions. Configuration of partitions depends on type of power terminals used and forms support of shape suited to shapes of mating unit. These shapes do not depend on types of power terminals used. Proposed design of closer makes it possible to connect it to external conductors using different types of power terminals.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced cost, and enlarged functional capabilities of closer.
