FIELD: cleaning natural water and sewage; final cleaning of medium from insoluble agents in various industries and public services.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filtering unit includes housing with upper and lower covers and distribution system with delivery branch pipe, drainage system communicated with discharge branch pipe and device for removal of filter medium which is made in form of water supply branch pipe communicated with nozzle whose axis coincides with axis of contraction. Filtering unit includes also hydraulic cyclone with sludge discharge branch pipe and filter medium supply branch pipe which is communicated with filter medium discharge branch pipe and high-pressure pump with delivery branch pipe. Filtering unit is also provided with two additional branch pipes: first branch pipe is fitted on discharge branch pipe of drainage system and second branch pipe is fitted on upper cover of housing; contraction is provided with diffuser whose inlet hole is communicated with outlet hole of contraction and outlet holes is communicated with filter medium discharge branch pipe; nozzle exit section is made in form of round hole opposite inlet hole of contraction. Nozzle is provided with mechanism for its motion along axis for complete closing contraction inlet hole; delivery branch pipe of high-pressure pump is communicated with delivery branch pipe of nozzle; sludge branch pipe of hydraulic cyclone is communicated with second additional branch pipe fitted on upper cover of housing; first additional branch pipe fitted on discharge branch pipe of drainage system is communicated with compressed air source. Filtering unit may be additionally provided with device for treatment of liquid in pulsating fields; inlet branch pipe of this device is communicated with filter medium discharge branch pipe and outlet branch pipe is communicated with filter medium supply branch pipe of hydraulic cyclone.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning; reduction of consumption of flushing water by 50-55%.
