SUBSTANCE: press has clutch, break, balancers, slide, and safety device mounted on the base. The slide is provided with a mechanism for control of closed height made of housing, worm wheel, and screw with the ball head jointed to the thrust bearing. In addition, the slide has a space formed by the top and bottom force plate. The housing of the control mechanism is mounted on the top force plate. The safety device consists of a support mounted on the bottom force plate and module made to provide the junction with the support and interaction with the supporting side of the thrust bearing of the control mechanism. The module can be made mechanical or fluid-pressure.
