FIELD: mining industry, particularly for automated rock mining, namely air drills.

SUBSTANCE: hammer has body taking impact load and made as solid cylinder with through orifice integrally formed with conical plunger. Plunger has press-fitted cup arranged on cylindrical body part and shock absorber installed between cup bottom and body end so that no gap is created in-between. Shock absorber is made as conical washer with orifice. Washer height is changed when cup is press-fitted up to the stop in conical plunged surface.

EFFECT: increased operational reliability of hammer.
