FIELD: measuring devices.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the measuring devices and may be used in the systems of a remote monitoring of temperature of air medium. The method provides for two series of measurements and storage of the voltages measured on the exemplary resistor and on the connection terminals of the linking circuit at an initial and a shunted state of the thermistor and the subsequent calculation of the value of resistance of the thermistor. The device for implementation of the method contains a source of power, a relay with closing contact, an exemplary resistor, a thermistor, a connecting line. At that the device is supplied with an additional voltmeter, the third wire of the connection line and a control unit. The source of power is made adjustable. The invention provides a raise of accuracy of a remote measurement of the active resistance of the thermistor.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase accuracy of a remote measurement of the active resistance of the thermistor.
