SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of agent of vegetable origin used for treatment of chronic pancreatitis and hepatitis B. Agent for treatment of chronic pancreatitis and hepatitis B is made in tableted form and comprises planted flax milled seeds, saltwort herb, bastard-hemp herb, common chicory roots, chitosan as active substances, and accessory substances - microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone and aerosil taken in the definite ratio of components. Invention relates also to a method for treatment of chronic pancreatitis and hepatitis B that involves administration to patient the proposed agent in the dose 500 mg, 3 times per a day before eating for 2-4 weeks drinking the agent with 50 ml of defatted kefir. Proposed agent elicits bacteriostatic, enveloping, regenerating, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immunostimulating effects. Treatment by the proposed method shows high effectiveness of treatment and favorable prognosis.
EFFECT: improved and enhanced method for treatment.
