FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytic composition used for polymerization of olefins that comprises polymerization catalyst and at least two different compounds representing carboxylic acid and basic compound taken among group including carbonate salts, amides, phenoxides and alkoxides. These substances interact at 50-130 C to yield a catalytic inhibitor that deactivates the catalytic composition and insoluble in hydrocarbons if reaction is carried out in suspension and solution phase. Also, invention claims a method for preparing composition and methods for polymerization in its presence. The claimed invention provides carrying out the continuous polymerization process at more stable output of catalyst, reduced tendency for pollution or formation of deposits, and prolonged duration of the process.
