Abstract RU 2234772 C1

FIELD: antenna engineering; manufacture of dual-channel near-omnidirectional antennas for cellular communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna designed for use in cellular communication systems and characterized in mutual orthogonal plane polarization (±45°) of radiation filed in channels tilted relative to vertical Z axis of rectangular coordinate system (XYZ) through ±45and also as radiator for dual-channel sectors and multibeam antennas of base stations of same polarization characteristic ensures shaping of directivity pattern of dual-channel antenna with mutually orthogonal polarization of radiation field (+45°-45°) in channels and coverage of beam-shaping sector, minimum 90° in width, of multichannel antenna in horizontal plane (XY plane of rectangular polarization system) at 3B level. Antenna has two dipoles crosswise disposed above metal screen and made on one end of insulating board mounted in parallel with flat screen at height not over half the desired wavelength of operating frequency range from this screen in the form of cross-shaped flat conductor assembled of four relatively orthogonal quarter-wavelength arms expanding from center of cross-shaped conductor to its ends at expansion angle λ not over 30°; each arm is connected at point spaced d < λ/8 from end of quarter-wavelength end of arm through metal conductor to its respective coaxial adapter mounted on metal screen under respective quarter-waveguide arm; respective coaxial input is connected in antiphase to each pair of diametrically opposite coaxial adapters through scale-of-two divider; circular metal frame of circle perimeter along center line equal to desired wavelength λ is provided on other end of insulating board coaxially with cross-shaped conductor.

EFFECT: provision for shaping directivity pattern of dual-channel antenna in channels covering mentioned sector in horizontal plane.
