SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding methane-air mixture in central part of sealed vertical cavity, for instance in vertical shaft of abandoned or closable mine, along cavity perimeter in horizontal plane in direction to cavity axis; drawing off methane from upper cavity part; venting air from cavity bottom part.
EFFECT: increased method simplicity, possibility of using structurally simple reliable equipment and prevention of expensive materials use.
