FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for eliminating high-frequency instability of operating process in chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine is based on provision of stabilization of burning process at starting owing for to mounting ribs onto combustion chamber fire wall. Ribs are installed at a distance from injector head face of combustion chamber in parallel to flow of getting out combustion products. Chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine has device for suppressing high-frequency oscillations of burning zone made in form of ribs secured fire wall. Invention makes it possible to eliminate high-frequency oscillations and create chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine featuring high reservoir of resistance to appearance of high-frequency instability and create devices for eliminating high frequency instability in chambers of liquid-propellant rocket engines at different stages of manufacture.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of elimination of high frequency oscillations.
