FIELD: oil and gas producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articulated devices of screw gyrator hydraulic machines and it can be used in screw downhole motors for drilling oil- and gas-producing wells and in screw pumps lifting liquids from inclined and horizontal wells. Proposed articulated device of gyrator hydraulic machine contains toothed clutch and shaft with axial spherical pivot, and also ball through which axial loads is conveyed. Torque is transmitted from shaft to clutch through barrel-shaped teeth of shaft and straight teeth of clutch. Novelty is that connection end face profile of tooth is made to generating rack inscribed by equidistant curve of shortened cycloid. Generating rack has alternate negative displacement Δx relative to its position in neck section whose maximum value depends on radius of curvature R of teeth in longitudinal section and width b of shaft rim. Value of radius of curvature R tooth profile in longitudinal section is determined by angle β between hinge joint axes.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance and increased service life of unit owing to reduction of contact stresses in joint.
