FIELD: pharmacology and drug screening.
SUBSTANCE: invention is directed to selection of drug and optimal dose thereof for treatment of an individual patient. For that, patient's blood, more particularly native blood serum, is cultured for 1 h with drug to be tested at different dilutions of therapeutic dose and at room temperature. In particular, preparation containing polysaccharides from Ungernia plant tissue (commercial name Vlairin). Cultured sample and native serum sample are placed onto object-plate and subjected to dehydration to form spheroidal film facies. Conditions of structural elements of facies in the two samples are then compared and, when radial cracks in the tested sample are increased as compared to control, drug is estimated to be appropriate for patient.
EFFECT: increased estimation efficiency for a large variety of pathologies.
