SUBSTANCE: proposed device that functions to control transmission of telephone signals transferred in single suppressed-carrier sideband and incorporates provision for eliminating probable information loss in case of signal fading has variable-gain component 1, OR gate 2, reversing counter 3, decoder 4, first, second, and third threshold elements 5, 6, 11, amplitude detector 7, first and second integrating reset amplifiers 8, 9, signal correlation function identifying device 10, monostable multivibrator 12, and two switches 13, 14.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of telephone signal reception and improved voice intelligibility due to reducing noise level between words.
