FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treatment of skin and skin damage in animals. Wound-healing agent comprises gel-forming agent, active substance and distilled water. Agent comprises methyl cellulose as a gel-forming agent, and humates and Eleutherococcus senticosus plant extract as an active substance in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: methyl cellulose, 3-5; humates, 0.034-0.1; Eleutherococcus senticosus plant extract, 0.0085-0.025; distilled water, the balance. Wound-healing agent accelerates wound healing by 2 days as compared with the known agent.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of agent.
