FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns manufacture of porous ceramic materials that can be used as building materials. Raw meal is composed of, wt %: carbonized clay loam 75.5-83, compacted microsilica 10-15, spillage from electrolyzer carbon linen breakage 5-7, and sulfate soap 2-2.5. Manufacture of light-weight ceramics from this raw meal comprises mixing, on rotor mixer, clayey ceramic slurry with compacted microsilica prepared by granulation from 0.8-1% sulfate soap aqueous solution followed by adding technical foam prepared by bubbling 1.2-1.5% sulfate soap aqueous solution with air, molding, drying, and firing at 1000оС.
EFFECT: widened source of raw materials by involving carbonized materials into ceramics manufacture, reduced average density, heat conductance, and material consumption of products.
