FIELD: hydraulic engineering.

SUBSTANCE: sectional gate vale distributor has upstream cover, at least one working section, and downstream cover tightened with tightening studs mounted in the openings provided in the covers and working section. The working section is provided with the U-shaped inlet pressure passage, outlet pressure passage, U-shaped discharging passage having two ports which are in communication with the same ports in the corresponding pressure and drain passages in the upstream and downstream covers, and auxiliary U-shaped passage which are connected with the openings for connecting consumers when the control slide moves. The upstream cover has the drain opening which is in communication with the drain passage whose port is located below the port of the pressure passage, pressure opening in the face for the supply of the fluid which is in communication with the pressure passage. The axis of the pressure opening for the supply of fluid, the axis of the passage on the butt plane, and the axis of the port of the drain passage on the butt plane are arranged in the common plane. The drain passage in the upstream and downstream covers is U-shaped and embraces the pressure passage. The valve openings of the upstream and downstream covers are provided with additional safety valves or plugs.
