FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to guide rail and it can be used in manufacture of guide rails and production of road vehicles with automatic guidance by means of guide rail. Proposed guide rail has head higher than foot of its neck formed by two convex side surfaces whose upper parts form upper inclined surfaces laying the part of rolling paths for inclined guide rollers and interconnected by means of connecting zone. Said inclined surfaces extend in downwards direction with roundings behind which lower inclined surfaces are found. According to invention, guide rail has special engagement and disengagement zones formed by two cavities arranged opposite to each other and made in form of recesses in direction of central part of rail neck, for instance, in form of linear cutouts with curving of each side surface to provide passing of round projection or flange of at least one guide roller without obligatory shifting to side or changing angle of its inclination.
EFFECT: simplified operation of vehicles owing to provision of quick release of guide rollers from guide rail.
