FIELD: shipbuilding; controllable pitch propellers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propeller includes pitch changing mechanism consisting of body, electric motor, pitch indicator sensor and planetary reduction gear. Driven gear wheel of reduction gear is connected with rod whose other end is connected with blade turning mechanism and is kinematically linked with pitch indicator sensor. Electric motor and reduction gear are located inside hollow propeller shaft and drive shaft of planetary reduction gear is mounted on end of said rod by means of anti-friction bearing. Driven gear wheel of reduction gear is also secured on this end of rod; rod is mounted inside hollow propeller shaft for rotation relative to it. Connection of pitch indicator sensor rod includes threaded part on said rod, nut, bush and fork. Bush and nut are rigidly interconnected and fork is kinematically linked with bush. Pitch indicator sensor is also connected with fork. Driven gear wheel of reduction gear is provided with lock which consists of bush with pin and fork. Bush of lock is mounted on propeller shaft, pin is received by holes made in propeller shaft and in driven gear wheel and fork is kinematically linked with bush.
EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced operational reliability; possibility of performing emergency manual shift of blades of controllable pitch propeller and reliable locking of blades.
