LAMINATED BUILDING UNIT OF REINFORCED WOOD AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: building, particularly laminated units of reinforced wood for skeleton-type industrial, transport and agricultural buildings and structures.

SUBSTANCE: building unit includes timber frame secured to reinforcement rods of welded frames with the use of additional tension links of strip steel and support-fixing covering planks. Near-support areas of connected frames are supplementary strengthened by discretely reinforced polymeric mastic layer. Method of building unit production involves connecting timber and welded frames, fixing connected frames on panel formed of plywood and wood boards and on discretely reinforced polymeric mastic layer, layer-by-layer monolithing of inner cavities and gaps of connected frames; simultaneous monolithing all layers along upper discretely reinforced polymeric mastic layer by connecting the second plywood-and-wood layer and outer sheet lining by means of glue-and-screw bonds and with the use of equalizing kentledges.

EFFECT: increased rigidity, bearing capacity, reliability and duration of monolithic behavior of all building unit layers, reduced material consumption.
