FIELD: fire-fighting by means of blast-process based equipment for fighting vast forest fires by providing extreme spreading conditions.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing fire suppressing effect by delivering relatively low energy actions upon front and side parts of fire, said actions being provided by blasting chain of elastic hose charges of explosive transported to blasting site by airplanes and thrown down in aimed manner. During throwing down procedure, unrolling of charge from compact folded state and delivery to predetermined position relative to cover of burning forest during blasting, controlling of blasting systems and self-destruction during descending are performed in automatic mode by dynamic stabilization system including leading load and parachute. Fire fighting effectiveness is provided by optimized parameters of action, adequate response to unstable burning processes and remote controlling of mass blasting works.

EFFECT: increased ecological safety and safety for personnel participating in fire fighting works, reduced costs and time, minimized damage from fire.
