FIELD: sportive equipment, in particular, foldable ski, which may be used for descent of the mountain, running on broken ground, mountain skiing, acrobatics, snowboarding, and turning on skis with lunge.

SUBSTANCE: ski has front and rear separated parts, each with lower portion and edges. Two skis have adjoining ends designed so as to be connected together. Ski is composed of pivotal device arranged between adjoining ends of two parts of ski for rigid connection thereof in aligned and coplanar position, when ski is used, and for providing folding of ski, without complete separation of two ski parts, to overlapping position, when one lower part is arranged opposite other part. Ski is further equipped with device for stabilizing two parts in aligned position, and lifting plate arranged at ski fastener fixing sites, where adjoining ends of said ski parts are aligned in inclined position with respect to lower part. Pivotal device has first pivotal plate fixed on adjoining end of said ski parts and second pivotal plate, which slides to be aligned with adjoining end of other ski part, and journal adapted for connecting of two adjoining ends of said pivotal plates and arranged at right angle to ski longitudinal axis. Such construction allows length and weight of apparatus to be reduced.

EFFECT: improved physical, mechanical and dynamic properties of ski required for effectuation of various sportive purposes, and improved safety as compared with traditional ski.
