FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly hot rolling of round steel shapes (rods) further subjected to turning.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of reducing strip in pre-finish oval and finish round roll grooved passes at elongation degree 1.18 - 1.30 and 1.20 - 1.35 respectively; reducing in finish roll grooved pass at end push 100 -250 H and at relation of width of final pass to its height in range 1.009 - 1.018.
EFFECT: lowered metal consumption at turning shapes, possibility for manufacturing regular contour rolled pieces.
