MOLE PLOW Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: amelioration equipment, in particular, construction of mole drainage on rice moles.

SUBSTANCE: mole plow has frame, supporting roller, knife and drainer-widener comprising cone and cylindrical part and equipped with projections and slots. Knife is joined to drainer-widener along cone generatrix and projections and slots are formed on cylindrical part of drainer-widener, with number of projections being at least three. One projection is always arranged at lower surface, i.e., in diametrically opposed relation to knife, in single plane therewith. Cone of drainer-widener has angle between generatrix and base of 45 deg + ϕ/2, where ϕ is average angle of friction of soil and steel. Knife is arranged at the same angle relative to generatrix of cylindrical part of drainer-widener.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in controlling of water, air and salt mode of soil, increased service life and reduced power consumption for moling process.
